Nurses from China, Philippines, and India

Please be very, very skeptical of any contract this is offered to you right now, where you will take your exams in the US................this is to get you to work for "slave wages" in the US, about $7 per hour.....NOT as an RN. If a reputable company is offering you a position, they will have you take at least CGFNS or NCLEX and the series of English exams before coming to the US. You need a Visa Screen Certificate for your petition to be submitted if you are in the US.............Please do not sign any of these contracts, they are for three years and there is no way out of them...... :angryfire

Please be very careful, and if you do not understand the contract, please have a lawyer review it for you first............

I am not under any agency on contract. I did all my homeworks for completion of my requirements. I have CGFNS + IELTS+ Visa Screen and I have received job offer letter from the hospital but not a contract. When I asked for contract, I have been told that there's no contract involved but I will be having all the equal benefit that nurses having in the hospital. My petition was submitted to USCIS October 2004. Should I need to have contract from hospital on my hand aside from the job offer?

If you already have an offer from a legitimate facility, then this doesn't affect you. There are nurses who are contacting me about contracts to go to the US, when they have not taken CGFNS or NCLEX, nor have they taken their English exams, and the company tells them that it will be done as soon they arrive in the US. And their salary is $7 per hour.

Or they have taken CGFNS and English, but have not done Visa Screen, and have not appleid to any board of nursing for licensure but already have a date to be in the US within a month or two. This is not going as a nurse, as they have been promised. You can get a better salary working at McDonalds.

Oh yes. Thank you suzanne for your concern. You're always giving helpful information.:)

hi suzanne, is there any hope that the eb-3 retrogression be over soon, my petition was filed jauary 24, 2004 and was approved january 10, 2005.how long will I wait before my visa availability be current, thanks.

Best suggestion I have for that is to speak to your immigration lawyer.

It wil also depend on which visa office that your documents were submitted to.
