Nurse in the US same as a nurse in the UK?

Hi, I am in nursing school now and I am interested in working internationally. Can my degrees translate equally to the UK? What are the chances getting hired as a new grad? Thank you in advance : )

Jobs in the UK are in a similar situation to the US and hard. UK nurses are struggling and unless you have experience in an area that is on the job shortage list then you will struggle to find a employer willing to go the work permit route. usually procedure is UK to EU to rest of world

In regards nurse training well currently the UK doens't recognise ADN and I am not sure if they accept accelerated BSN but best place to check is the NMC website. So a lot will also depend on how you train

As a new grad, no chance, as the requirements state you need at least a year experience. It took me about 6 months to achieve and a lot of money.

The only shortage occupations for nursing are in NICU and OR/theatre, unless you have a "right" to work in the UK, i.e. married to a British citizen or are a EU citizen/married to an EU citizen. If you don't fit any of those criteria, it will be very difficult to get any sponsorship to get a job.
