At your workplace is there a particular nurse theorist who's framework and ideas are being followed? Do you think this is the norm for all institutions to choose a nurse theorist to follow? Why? I recently found out that at the hospital where I work we follow the Theory of Comfort of Katharine Kolcaba. I have worked at this hospital for five years, never having heard that we followed a nurse theorist, and only found this answer after doing research on the topic. Does anyone's work have a nurse theorist that they are actively promoting and discussing to guide their practice??
Anybody????? :)

Florence Nightengale . . . .

yeah she is well known, I was just curious if there were other theorists whose studies were actually "preached" at the workplace.
