Nurse residency/work requirement

Just a quick question I can't seem to find the answer to. I was looking into a nurse residency program and was wondering if I will be required to work at that hospital for x number of years? What about the same hospital in a different city? Would that usually be allowed? Thanks!

There is no standard requirement - each program is different. You will need to look at the terms of the residency contract for answers to your questions.

Well I guess my question is if I even have a chance to land the job if I have no intention in staying at that particular hospital? However I would love to work at another one of their hospitals in a different city closer to my hometown. How do I relay this info? Thanks!
