Nurses General Nursing

Heard a little about the Nurse Reinvestment Act a while ago when it was in the news lots. Now I haven't heard much. Has money been approved for it? Also, I heard of some money going toward nursing schools, grants for research, etc. Does anyone know how it would affect little old us......Already nurses who may want to further our education but may not be able to cut our hours to do so?

http://www.aacn.nche.edu/Government/NRAupdate.htm Here is a link to the Grants Available Page. Most of these are what is available to schools and workplaces. There is an individual Nursing Scholarship, but the deadline for application was June, 30. I don't know how many times a year it is available.
