Hello all!
Not sure if I'm posting in the right forum, but hopefully someone can point in the right direction....I wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with using nurse recruitment firms. I am thinking of relocating in the next few months and have been contacted by a few. Just wanted to know if anyone had any information(good or bad) on these type of companies, any that you could recommend, pros/cons, etc. Thank you

Are you talking about travel nursing companies, or just recruitment for regular staff nurses?
Recruitment for regular staff..the companies that claim to find you a job help relocate you, etc.
Not familiar with any of those- this is the travel forum.....

Not sure why you want to use one of those agencies, when you can do the contacting yourself. And get more money, the pay for the agency has to come from someplace and it could be in your pocket instead.

I have applied online with numerous recruiting agencies for positions posted and as of yet have never secured a job. I have rarely heard from them about my application nor is there anyway ( at least that I'm aware to do a followup) If I have heard from them they have done alot of the time talking about the agency and its only after I ask abou t the position that they get to it and then direct you to a different area in the country. As you can see, I have not been impressed: it maybe I'm going about it all wrong not sure. Good Luck Spirit08
