Nurse recovery program

Hi, I'm wondering if any of you know of nurses who haven't been accepted into the NRP.. I'm really praying I will be accepted. It's been a year this past Feb since I self reported, my case hasn't come up yet and I haven't heard for the NRP. My license is currently active with no discipline and I'm working in dialysis . Thanks!

    every situation is different...and the same. don't know what state you are in, and each state is a little different as well. It's great you self reported. hopefully you've gone into treatment, attending 12 step meetings, etc. the more you do the better it looks. You're in dialysis so that's a plus as far as not being concerned with exposure to whatever your drug of choice was. Most state nursing boards have figured out that we still have a great deal to give to patients as well as to nursing. Good luck.

    Thank you. Yes , I did inpatient and outpatient treatment, attending AA NA meetings and have a great sponsor.

    It just seems like it's the board forever . I'm in Mississippi.
