Nurse Practitioner in Australia

New here!!!!

I am an RN BSN,and I will graduate with my Family NP in December of this year.

I was wondering if someone has any info or advices on working in Australia as a NP???

Salaries, coast of living and other aspects of life advices are appreciated.

NP's are relatively new in Australia. It's only about 4-5 years since the first NP was licensed here. She was a girl from Adelaide, South Australia.

As well as contacting willa57, for guidance and advice, you might wish to contact the nurses board in the state in which you wish to practise.

In Oz, you have to register with the individual state board in the state in which you will be working.
