Nurse 2 to nurse 3 help

Hello ?,  

I ha e been a nurse with the VA for 4 years just went through review again to go from nurse 2 to nurse three. I had thought I followed there rubric 100% with examples of each to be denied 5/10 items. Does anyone have any advice or can help me at all with appeal process I already appealed once

Do you work with any nurses that are already at level 3 and could review your work? Do you have a manager or mentor who would be willing to help with your requirements? I would hope that any organization that has a similar step/promotion structure would have nurses that are invested in helping their colleagues meet their goals. Sorry you've had a challenging time with it. Good luck!

No my manager is step 2 won't qualify for 3 ever due to needing MSN. I had worked with a level three she doesn't understand either

Get together with someone on the nursing board at your hospital and let them review your proficiency first. It's a very stupid system and I hate that it even exists, very subjective. Unfortunately the VA system is all who you know!
