Great news: A "Nurse Licensure Compact" bill just passed in both chambers of the Rhode Island State Legislature. I was not expecting this to happen. All of the legislators who voted supported this bill. Apparently there is a nursing shortage in Rhode Island. The bill should be ready for the Governor's signature soon.
