Nurse Interview

Published

Hello! I am a pre-nursing student, and I am taking an intro to nursing course. In this course I have to interview a registered nurse and then write a paper on it. I was wondering if anyone could answer these questions for me because I don't know any nurses. I will be so grateful if you can respond 🙂

Things needed:

  • Initials
  • What type of nursing degree he/she possesses
  • Include the type of nursing this person does and what is involved in his/her job
  • Include the length of time this nurse has been in practice
  • What things your interviewee reports as important knowledge, skills and attitudes for his/her career in nursing
  • Summarize how your nurse's values, beliefs, or philosophy affect his/her practice as a nurse
  • Include values that your nurse has had shaped by his/her nursing experience
  • Describe how your nurse keeps up with changing knowledge and trends in nursing
  • Explain some changes he/she has seen in healthcare during his/her experience as a nurse

You have no idea if someone responding on here is even a real nurse.  Go to a hospital. Talk with HR. Go to a unit and ask to speak to a head nurse. Schedule a time.  Gotta put in real work.  If you don't know any nurses go get to know one. If a nursing student came to my unit I would find 10 minutes to answer their questions.
