I recently interviewed for a well-paid part-time research position. However, I DO need to work an additional 8 to 12 hours per week to make ends meet. When I was a nursing student, I posted a flyer in several locations and managed to secure some work helping post-operative older adults as they recovered (i.e. ADLs, etc.). Now that I have been a nurse for three years and I am earning a master's degree, I am interested in making myself available in a similar capacity. I possess my own malpractice insurance and, obviously, maintain my registered nursing license. Does anyone have any other thoughts? Thanks!

What about a home health agency? Then you're employed by an agency that will handle your tax liability, and you can work as much or as little as you want.
