Nurse Educator back to floor- can't find job

I'm a MSN RN who's been doing nursing education for the past two years. I've decided I can handle the drama of floor nursing better than student drama. I need a flexible schedule to go back to school for wound certification. Ive applied to several places and my application does not get "considered " for job. Are places intimated by my degree or they see lack of years as no experience. Ive been a nurse for 15 years. I didnt forget how to nurse and for Christ's sake I teach med/surg!
