2021 Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program

Starting this thread for those who applied for Nurse Corps loan repayment in 2021

I have read anywhere from around 2 weeks to 2 months... so no idea!! I got my offer 2 weeks ago (on June 18th) and I signed the contract on the 22nd. Still waiting.. I check several times/day. Are you waiting on a cosignature too?

Im a FNP and applied to the NHSC loan repayment. Has anyone heard back on this yet? Will it be an email? Thank you.

Yes. I signed mine on the 23rd. I check all day too. I’m so hopeful it will get co-signed.

From what I understand and have noticed reading through these forums, is that most (if not all) of those who get finalist emails DO get awarded. So I am very hopeful as well! Good luck & keep me updated if you get that cosig.

Yes, it will be an email from HRSA.gov with a subject line of "Confirmation of Interest in an FY 2021 Award"

I got a finalist email on 6/18, but I think they send out emails through mid September.  Good luck to you!

Submitted my app on 4/8. Credit check on 4/27.

Ahh okay. I tried to submit mine early but there was an issue with my account. They some how created two accounts under my email and it took forever to fix. They fixed it a few days before the close date so I submitted then.

For those getting awards, I assume they are all NHSC awards/notifications and NOT YET Nurse Corps Loan Repayment (NCLR) ???? 

Please state if anyone has received a Nurse Corps Loan Repayment award/notification of being finalist. It did not look like anyone received notification for this in past years until July (I think?).

I have read that they make offers all the way through mid September. Waiting anxiously... ?

Correct. We are talking about NHSC.

Once I continued interest for NHSC award it automatically "declined award" for Nurse Corps on me. 

Nurse Corps seems to always be about a month behind NHSC from what I gather. So, it shouldn't be long now before the first letters go out I wouldn't think! Maybe a couple more weeks.
