Nurse with chiari malformation

Published

I am a 26 yr old nurse. I graduated in may 2011. In 2006 I was diagnosed with chiari malformation. I had decompression brain surgery a few months later. since then I have had bad headaches. I learned to cope with them and went on to finish nursing school. I began working as an RN at a hospital. I was making it ok on days. When I swapped to nights my headaches turned into monsters. I ended up having to quit. I couldn't take care of patients feeling like that. It wasn't safe. So I started at a dialysis clinic because it was days I thought I could handle it Bette. But my symptoms were just getting wise. The doctors do not know what is causing it. So I ended up having to quit that job too. I have horrible neck pain now also and dizzy spells. I recently had an MRI and go back to my doc in a week. My problem is I am getting very depressed. I'm afraid I'm never gonna find a job bc of how my resume looks now since I quit my first two jobs after bout 4 to 6 months each. Does anybody have any advice

How did you make out at the doctor's? I am just now reading this. I don't know a whole lot about CM but I do hope you are able to work it out so you can work!!
