I've been considered for my first nurse aide position and have my interview this upcoming Monday. I have been in contact with one of my RN friends, and he told me that he highly suggests sending a thank you letter after my interview. As far as what to put in the thank you letter- he provided no insight, haha.
So, this is what I have so far:
"To Whom It May Concern,
Thank you for taking the time to interview me on Monday, December 14th, for the Nurse Aide position on Memorial 4 North. It would bring my great joy to be able to join Aultman and contribute my skills to the quality care given to patients.
Given this career opportunity, I believe that I would contribute compassion, hard work and dedication among other skills to the facility. I would also bring pride in my work and competent care.
I greatly appreciate the consideration of my ability for this position."
I plan on changing the "To Whom It May Concern" to the interviewers name but at the moment, I haven't a clue who is actually conducting it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If it's a hospital it's usually the manager who does the hiring, not the interviewer
Yes, its a hospital. But I don't know who is conducting the interview. Whoever it is, is the name that I will change the "To Whom It May Concern" to.
I was just saying! Because I had no idea when I first got interviews

I see that you've put a lot of work into what you want to say but I've always just bought a pack of fancy/pretty smaller (2X3 or 3X4 inch I think) thank you cards with envelopes and sent one to any HR person recruiting me and then to anyone else in the interview such as the manager/supervisor or peer interviewers. Something along the lines of:
To whom it may concern (or name is even better):
Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule so we could meet. I am very excited for a chance at such an opportunity. I hope our paths cross again soon.
Sincerely,
Often something short and sweet but a tad but more specific to each person. Good luck!
I've never even made a thank you letter until now, haha. I don't think it ever crossed my mind to do so before but this is also my first "career" related position and not just a min. wage temporary thing. Thank you both though!
