NURS 4325 Research Start Date 5/20/2013

Just listened to OOH, it was not as helpful as last week but did some of the job. The echo throughout was rough. Hopefully tomorrow is better. I used the OOH & this weeks video to answer questions 6&7.

It was helpful (agree: not as good as last week's). The echo and technical difficulties really killed it, plus the fact that an entire section of the course was unable to even access the session. I really hope they fix these problems before next week's OOH.

Has anyone started studying for the quiz next week? I've read in a past board discussion that the quiz is difficult and not what they expected so I am worried. I am going over the notes and I have the quiz blueprint but it's not too specific.

Has anyone started studying for the quiz next week? I've read in a past board discussion that the quiz is difficult and not what they expected so I am worried. I am going over the notes and I have the quiz blueprint but it's not too specific.

agreed, I am worried too, b/c it looks only like the info covered in week one. why wait till week 3 if you will only quiz on info from one week?

I HATE THIS CLASS!! There, I feel much better now. This has to be the most ridiculous approach to learning about research I have ever seen. I have an MS in Bio and have taken several research classes. This one has me lost and confused, lol! Spent a ton of time last night finishing up the JC assignment. Our coach is worthless. We are down to 4 people in our group, but essentially 3 are doing all the work.

I'm so glad there are only 3 weeks left. I guess I will spend all my days off studying for the quiz, which I have to take on Wednesday, after I work a 12-hour shift. I don't understand the reasoning of not having the quiz open for at least 2 or 3 days.

To make matters worse, I am also taking Vulnerable Populations, and the paper this week took forever. However, I have a great coach and she isn't a tough grader. The assignments the next couple of weeks are much easier in that class so I can give all my love to research!

How in the world do you do that? Vulnerable Pop. and Research are the toughest classes in this program. I think I even prefer this class to Vul. Pop. It was very intense for me and I took it with History 1 which wasn't a cake walk either. Wow this Research class is something else. I cant wait for August to have my life back.

I know, I was going to take Vulnerable Pop with this but decided I wasn't that masochistic. And after the first week of this class, I'm really glad I did decide not to double up.

Well, the second week of Vulnerable Pop is supposed to be the worst, so that's behind me. I've already done the FEMA certificate for the last week of class. Week 3 and 4 of Vulnerable Pop isn't too bad, so I'm thinking I might survive! I am just desperate to be done. Taking Legacy of the Family and Cooperative Nursing next 5 weeks and then Capstone and I will be done!! I keep telling myself it's almost over!!

I don't understand a ton of thing in this class. It is so confusing and difficult, not to mention the whole group project approach. I am in a group of 6, but 1 does basically nothing and another isn't much better, luckily the rest of us seem the be more type A. I hate this quiz that you can't look at all of the questions only at one time. I panic on questions I feel are difficult and I swear my brain shuts down. Why wait till week 3 to have a quiz blueprint that is basically reflective of information only covered in week 1?

Cant wait to be done with this class then capstone and maybe a little relaxation come August!
