Thank you for the insight @FreestylePete.This was after interviewing with the recruiter and nurse manager and then going for over 5 hours shadowing and then completing the reference survey with three "very good references".
I had emailed the recruiter last week and she said she would finalize my survey/references but haven't heard anything yet even after emailing again today. I just hate this waiting game because I'm currently working agency and want to pick up another hospital but I'm not doing so yet because I'm still waiting on NSLIH's decision.
Good luck with your upcoming NYP interview though!
Hello Ebony_RN.
I know this thread is a bit old but I wanted to know if you still work at the Women's hospital. I would like to ask a few questions. I recently had an interview there and I'm freaking out. Please private message me or email me at [email protected].
Thanks. Hope to hear from you soon.

To those who currently work for NSLIJ, when they ask for you to complete the survey/references is this usually a good sign? Also, how long after completion of the survey did you hear back from the nursing recruiter?
I'm just curious about if they will call to let you know if you got or didn't get the position.
