Does anyone know if Lenox Hill has the ED Fellowship each year, or is it only the Long Island based hospitals (i.e. Manhasset, New Hyde Park) that host it? If so, does anyone know around when it is posted?
I have been diligently checking the LIJ Careers site and was able to apply to the Manhasset location's fellowship program about a week ago, but haven't heard back yet.
I am a new graduate (as of Saturday) if this helps at all.
Well i was recommended by someone, but the HR nurse recruiter did say that over 250+ applicants applied in the first 2 days it was up..so i def recommend being one of the first 100 to apply so in a way it is kind of first come first serve. And i possible to get a volunteer position i would 100% do that !
But even though i was recommended it does not ensure that I have a spot in the fellowship. I went on the first 2 interviews and from what i could tell they went well, but there is still a 3rd interview from what I hear and i have yet to hear anything from LIJ or HR.
There should be more postings coming up for the fellowship i believe in october and january so keep looking!!!
I've been wanting to apply for their fellowship but I can't seem to find the link to apply, just the information page about the fellowship. Can anyone tell me where to look? It would be much appreciated!!
Yea GoVeg, it was up yesterday for just one day and then they took it down...which I find was really quick? It also up in May along with ED/ PICU/CC fellowship. But, I saw most ppl posted they did not receive a call for CC fellowship thou.
Omg! I seriously check that website more days than I don't! I can't believe I missed another one!! Well thanks for the info. I guess I'll have to be more diligent!!

I knew that i didn't want the ED fellowship so i did not apply. I applied for the picu fellowship.
