I am a junior in high school and I've decided to become a navy nurse. I've done research, but a few things are unanswered. What kind of things would I need to have to even be considered for receiving a NROTC-nurse option scholarship? Also, I want to be a critical care nurse, what classes would I need for that? I understand that I need to apply for the NROTC this summer but how do I go about doing that?

Have you visited the Navy website? Next, call a healthcare recruiter and schedule an appointment to talk about your options. Have you researched the nursing schools in your area that offer a BSN? What are the requirements and when do they start (1x year, 2x year), what kind of wait are you looking at?
In terms of Critical Care nursing, you can take a BLS class, but other than that unless you have a nursing license, there is not much else you can do for critical care nursing. You might want to get a CNA license and look for a job in a critical care unit that utilizes nursing assistance......
good luck
