NRCME exam tips

I am required to be certified to do DOT exams for my job. I am scheduled to take the NRCME exam soon. Hoping someone out there can provide some insight...

  • How challenging would you say the exam is? I know only a 70% or greater is required, but some of the practice questions I have been reviewing seem very nit-picky.

  • How long did you study for?

  • Any study materials you'd recommend? I am finding this information rather dry and want to find some online practice exams/questions but many of them are ~$100 and I'm not sure if its worth it.

    The likelihood of passing the NRCME exam is directly related to which NRCME training course you use.  Highly recommend the emedhome course at www.NRCMEexam.com.  This course contains LOTS of sample questions, many of which were on the actual exam. Plus it is the least expensive course around.  All of the providers in our large clinic used this course and all passed without difficulty.  Good luck!
