What's your role as a night shift APP w/ HM? Do you admit only (if so, how many? Capped?) and/or cross-coverage & responding to rapids/codes?
*New grad NP interviewing this week for nightshift, 7on/7off. 8 years ICU RN experience and final year of NP school was all ICU preceptorships.

I worked as an NP doing hospital medicine, there was no cap on admits during the night, if you had time to see them you did. Also answered floor calls, hopefully you will know what units you have to answer and not all over the hospital. Did not have to answer any codes because NPs should not run them, physicians do. 7 on and 7 off is going to be a beast, make sure the compensate you. Make sure you have a sleep room or space to chart quiet and nap if you need to
