Average pay there is low $80's. Some places offer little or no benefits. People take these offers because there aren't many opportunities for NPs there and the competition for jobs is ridiculously fierce. Not to mention that there are 7 brick and mortar NP schools in the Tri-County area pumping out new grads every six months... If you speak Spanish you will have more options. And you will have even more options if you move out that area completely.

I want to know what your hours are, what kind of setting do you work in, and what your pay is like, with how much and what kind of experience? I'm a new RN but I don't see myself doing bedside nursing forever... And I want to get an idea of what to expect when I eventually go for and finish my masters.
