I'm a repeat test taker ... I'm taking my second attempt soon before the end of the year.. and I would like to track my review doing a "daily log" inspired by one1morestep and AspiringRN2b. (Thank you guys.)
I think this would help me motivate to study ... I'm working full time graveyard so it's really hard to balance my work and study. .. So if anyone of you guys struggling like me you can join me and let's do this...
By the way I'm using the following:
- Saunders 5th edition
- Kaplan strategies and review 2012-2013
- PDA by Lacharity (I bought mine in kindle)
- NCLEX-RN alternate format Q&A
- Kaplan on demand
- feuer audio
- hurst video
I guess that's it.. We can do this.. We will pass NCLEX-RN examination

Elow guys , im also a graduate in da phil but i havent took da PNLE because i dont need it anymore. Any advice for a newbie taker like me wth no experience in any PNLE and Nclex . For now im reading da Saunders 5th ed , dont now what to read other from that
Hi, its oky that you dont have ur PNLE, coz i tell you it is much different from nclex.. for me nclex is much harder than i thought.. (well maybe bcause i passed the PNLE 1st time)lolzzz.. u have a good reading material, i have that too.. if u can purchase PDA thats a helpful book for the priority and delegation, actually its a must, specially if your international student like in the philippines coz delegation is not really given emphasize during our student years..
Thats a good study habit, im happy for you. Well now im doing saunders comprehensive, coz in my 1st exam i felt like im lacking of contents so i failed. Im using pda and kaplan questions as well.. im planning to enroll in NCSBN,but i feel overwhelmed already coz i have a lot of review materials and i dont really know if i can finish all of it.. is it really helpful?
Yes, I really recommend NCSBN. In fact, I will enroll again the week before my test :) Just do the q&a there, don't bother to read the content/lecture because it's really overwhelming. The first time I took NCLEX, I just did NCSBN but I didn't even finished half of it! I was moving here in the US at that time, getting married and all of that. :) So that's what you need to do, enroll in NCSBN 2-3 weeks before your scheduled test. I feel the same, I have alot of review materials and I'm like gosh will I be able to finish all of these? So I did a calendar and I sticked to it.
