Nova Southeastern Winter 2013 Entry Level BSN

I am applying for NSU's nursing program for fall of 2013, I am currently finishing up my pre-reqs at NSU. However, I saw on a paper that my advisor gave me that if you have a c- or lower in any classes on your transcript you will not be accepted, is this true? Also, if you have taken classes other than what you need do they even look at those? are those classes calculated in with your GPA, or do they only get the GPA from the required pre-reqs?

Thanks!! I believe it was the 16th of Oct. I might have been accepted earlier but there were some issues with my IB transcript.

My interview was the 16 too . It kinda gets my hopes up that they are still accepting so i probably still got a chance. Did you just found out today ?

Yup! I've been waiting for them to receive my IB transcript. So when I emailed an adviser in regards to the matter, she informed me that I have no outstanding documents and I was accepted. Email/Letter should be coming later this week.

These are great questions as I am in the same boat as you are! can anyone answer? It would be a huge help! I am really anxious to apply for fall 2013!

I know someone that dropped three classes and got a bad grade in a class(don't know the grade). This person got accepted!! Keep your hopes up and apply!!! Whatever is meant to be will happen to you!!! Follow your dreams!!

do you know if it was drop or a W? awwww thank you so much!! i am not losing sight of my dream I am still oging to apply no matter what! I am still trying my best though but I am going to achieve my goal no matter what. Any advice on what I should do prior to applying to make my chances look good?

@dolphins1005 I agree, I think I will set up an appointment to talk to some one 2maro. I actually work in the graduate school so it wont be that hard to do. Its just very stressful knowing that the rest of my relies on the answers to the questions.

Just make sure u do good in ur science, and write a bad ass personal statement lol!! Make sure you apply to many different programs!!! The more options the better. Good luck :)
