I noticed there wasn't a article for this so I decided to make one. I applied early toward the end of fall semester in December after final grades were posted and got a interview shortly after. I been so nervous for the past couple of days and I finally received the call 9 days after the interview and I still can't believe it. Anyone out there applying for the fall term?
I have a question for those students that have been accepted already - have you received your acceptance package in the mail yet? I recieved my acceptance phone call going on two weeks now and have still yet to receive the package. I dont know if i am just jumping the gun because of excitment or...?
Hey! so college algebra is a pre requisite to MAT1040, so you would need to take college algebra if you wanted to take MAT1040 so all you need is statistics and MGF1106 not college algebra. I asked NOVA and broward college. Hope this helps :)
do you mind me asking who you spoke to at Nova about that? Because I've gotten a different answer so I want to call them again today.
So i don't remember there name but I called the aundergradute admissions office and asked about that same thing, My transcripts and application has been received, they told me everything was fine, I just have to wait for them to email me about the interview. But I only have statistics and currently taking MGF1106

Thank you & good luck!
I went today to Nova and the lady told me I don't need College Algebra. But I am nervous because I have taken a course or two over because I didn't get a good grade the first time/ or failed so I'm concerned for that. I know they look at your science GPA and your composite GPA. Does anyone know how they figure the 3.0 GPA based off if you have more than one school transcript ? Is it the Cumulative GPA from each school ?
