I noticed there wasn't a article for this so I decided to make one. I applied early toward the end of fall semester in December after final grades were posted and got a interview shortly after. I been so nervous for the past couple of days and I finally received the call 9 days after the interview and I still can't believe it. Anyone out there applying for the fall term?

I need as much input and advice as i can get.

I originally attended NSU from 2012 to 2016 and graduated with a BS in biology. I moved back to NY in december, finished the pre-reqs, applied and got into the fall 2017 class at davie campus. Here is my dilemma.. i did not receive any scholarships and FAFSA is not coming up with anything either. Do i move back down to FL to start class in august and take out loans for tuition and living.. or do i defer my enrollment (pending they allow me to) until Jan 2018 and apply to the NY schools again. If i get into NY schools then i will commute from home and only have to take out loans for tuition and not housing too. I will then be an entire semester behind when i wanted to officially graduate and start working.. decisions decisions. im hoping someone can give me their opinion on what they would do if they were in my situation.

**also.. i graduated with my first degree debt free due to scholarships. the idea of taking out loans for a degree has me anxious to be honest.

You're already in, can you call your advisor and ask if it's even possible to defer your application to Jan (which I'm sure it's OK) then we have a legitimate decision to make. Just my two cents :) if I were in your position I would probably find a school in NU and avoid living expenses BUT if you want to do it now I you won't be the first or last to graduate with debt. I too graduated from UM with a psych degree and no debt, now I'm going back with my family and definitely getting loans but I want it so bad I'll figure out loans later. Hope I helped some

Hi everyone, I also applied to NSU-Davie on May 4th and have yet to get a response. I need some advice on whether or not I should reach out to a rep at the school or should I continue waiting? Does anyone know if NSU informs you if you haven't been accepted to the program?

I would call them, like everyday. Bug them until you get an answer
