I noticed there wasn't a article for this so I decided to make one. I applied early toward the end of fall semester in December after final grades were posted and got a interview shortly after. I been so nervous for the past couple of days and I finally received the call 9 days after the interview and I still can't believe it. Anyone out there applying for the fall term?
For everyone that's already excepted. Have you guys started on your package? What have you done yet and what you haven't yet? I have a lot to do. I completed my immunization and will do physical in the morning.
I have done everything but the immunizations and physical. Im gonna get the immunizations and physicals done closer to the orientation day.
Hi everyone ! can anyone give me any tips on how to succeed in the interview process ..like what do they ask you etc...any help would be greatly appreciated
Hi jwisaqua! They will ask you to tell about yourself in one minute. All the other questions, like 3 or 4 more questions, are scenario questions. There's no way to actually prepare for it because thay ask different questions to different people. You don't want to be prepared for questions you might read on the threads, they if they ask you something else your're lost. Do you know what I mean? I would just say to be yourself 100% and stay calm and confident. The interview it's really not a big deal. I was very anxious before mine, but it was too much worry for nothing. The interviewers are super nice and make you feel comfortable.
Also, dress professionaly! No open toe shoes, no long nails, neutral make-up, little to no perfume as you should start getting used to that for the nursing profession. Dress for success and keep your head up!
Beat of luck and keep us posted! You got this!!!!
