Nova Southeastern University BSN Entry Level Fall 2017

I noticed there wasn't a article for this so I decided to make one. I applied early toward the end of fall semester in December after final grades were posted and got a interview shortly after. I been so nervous for the past couple of days and I finally received the call 9 days after the interview and I still can't believe it. Anyone out there applying for the fall term?

Just focus on the science portion it's the hardest. The math was basic and mainly fractions. Don't stress to much about the interview it's not that bad. But good luck

Hey you all, and congrats on your acceptance. I applied and I am still waiting for them to receive all of my transcripts. But I was wondering what did you use to study for the A&P part? Were there questions concerning the heart and cells? Or was it just basic A&P? Thanks for responding !

I used my A&P notes. It mainly asked about the cardiovascular system, nerves, sensory, immune, and respiratory. Some questions were more specific but just review the basic functions of the systems and you should be fine.

Jaiema12 Thank you for the advice and key points. Just purchase the Kaplan Nursing Entrance Exam Guide.I will definitely get into the studying for the rest of the month.

DeeCee77 I also applied this February to the Davie campus. My cum GPA 3.75. Studying for the entry exam and waiting for an interview email. I am studying with the Cracking ACT 2017 edition reading, writing,and science with my AP old book and my HESI A2 for my math.. I check my email on a daily just to see if i received an email not as of yet.:up:Good luck

Good luck! I already completed the interview portion of the admissions process. I didn't study for the Kaplan exam, because I was told not to. I really wish that I did study though. Hopefully everything goes well.

Hello everyone I have a question for those of you who have applied to Nova and Barry, is the Human Growth and Development class the same as Developmental Psychology?

LeighAsh From my understanding the two course are different Human Growth and Development educate you on the humans body changes from being an infant to aging as an elderly and the development stages. Development Psychology will educate you on the humans stages of behaviors and mental status and the development from infant to an aging elderly. Again the two courses are different.You will have to take both courses prior to starting any nursing program. Definitely it will be helpful to you if you look into Nova Nursing Prerequisites and Barry Prerequisites to see what they accept then go from there. Hopefully this help:up:
