I went on the interview in september, and got my letter about 3 weeks later, the day after thanksgiving 2005.

They ask you general questions, such like: "why do you want to be a nruse, why do you want to come to our school, what are your leadership skills you possess, what motivates you in life, what would you do if someone needed help.......etc. etc"

very general questions, something like an interview for a job

Thanks soo much for the info... also i know the mininum gpa is 2.7...wat was the average gpa of students who got in that u know of???

I was accepted for this fall. My gpa is 3.1 almost 3.2. The interview was a group interview and they ask you to write an essay i believe it was a quote about what you consider success or what you consider to be your obstacles i cant really remember it wasnt hard i think that they were really looking to see how you write. Then you went in for a personal interview with two head people they were both very nice and they ask you a couple of general questions the one i remember is name a time where you had to overcome an obstacle and explain. It was easy then they asked me if i would consider the Baptist scholarship. Thats really all i can remember it was a very relaxed interview. Dont worry about it it gives you a chance for them to get to know you and not just your GPA. Good luck im sure youll do great:yeah:

I got in with a 3.3 and based on some of my classmates a lot had 3.5 or higher

Thanks for the info... it really helped. I have 2 more questions..what is the baptist scholarship? and how long did they give you to write the essay?

The baptist scholarship is a great program that baptist hospital pays for all of your nursing education. You have to go to school on the kendall campus and do your clinicals and school through baptist. Then you have to sign a contract to work for them for 3 years after you graduate. This is great if you live near kendall. I decided not to do it because my husbands job is looking to promote him sonewhere north and i dont want to be tied down for three years to kendall. They will explain all of this to you when you go to the interview. The essay i dont remember but i was dont and waiting for a while before they came back in. Youll be fine.

Thank You for all the info...

Hi :) Does anyone know anything about the dual admissions program that Nova has for the nursing program (Where admitted undergrads are guaranteed a spot in the nursing school)?
