Hey
I was looking at school for nursing and ran across the all girls school at Notre Dame in Maryland? Is it really a all girls school? I would be moving across country and wanted to see how the program is run? Thank You

Are you referring to the High School? Yes, it's an all girls college-prep school.
and I am not aware of them having a nursing program.
you can visit their website
Notre Dame Preparatory School: STEAM

Notre Dame of Maryland University in Baltimore, at one time was an all women's college at one time. For the most part, it is a coed university. There is a women's college with a limited number of of degrees. The rest of the college is coed. The RN to BSN accelerated program is coed (Several friends have gone there). I have heard that there is a standard BSN nursing program there, and think that it is coed, but not positive. I will say that the classes I have seen there and students are predominantly female. Notre Dame is closely associated and shares the library of Loyola, which is right next door, and I believe was more male oriented.
Notre Dame is a Catholic school, and there are religious classes required, along with religious influence in Philosophy class. But otherwise, it is more liberal than expected, with discussions of Margaret Sanger as a nursing pioneer. There is also an active LBGT group on campus.
Correction: the website indicates that the school of nursing is part of the Women's College.
