Not taking TEAS today as scheduled

Hello everyone! Well, I would be testing at this very moment at the cc I applied to, but I changed my mind on Wednesday when I went to another cc for their RN info session.

It seems all 4 schools I'm considering applying to, ONLY take your first scores. I applied at one school a month ago and received the email about the TEAS. My appointment was for today. I thought I would be ok, since I read so many successful posts here. At the info session we were told that the only way to turn in another score if you already tested would be if it would be the TEAS VI!

I purchased the ATI bundle and received the manual last Friday. I took the pre-test and scored a 62%. That barely makes the cut at 2 schools, but not the other 2 that require a 70%.

Since I canceled my appointment I can refocus on my math class that I need to graduate. Now this gives me at least 6 months to study for Spring time application.

So what do you think, did I make a the right decision?
