Not Sure What To Do Next in My Nursing Career

Hello everyone,

I am currently working as a Pre-op/PACU nurse at an ambulatory surgery center. This is my first nursing job and I have been here for about 3.5 years. I feel like it's time for me to move on and take the next step with my nursing career. There is not much more to learn at my current job and I am honestly really bored with it. I want to expand my nursing skills and maybe learn a new specialty. I have considered working in the hospital, however, I'm not sure if the experience is worth the mental and physical stress. I'm unsure if I should do inpatient or outpatient. My PACU experience is not considered acute or critical so that limits my options as well. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
