Okay ppl I am working w/ ATI and I have about 3 1/2 weeks before I go to take my test. When I take the ati test for each sec. it's says I need more work in those areas. But when I took the inital comp. I passed in the areas. Im not mad at the fact that I may need more work but I am mad b/c I dont have much time and I already pushed my test date back and this is not giving me the faith I need in my skills:angryfire . I worked very hard to get here and last week I did not want to look @ another nclex book. But I got back on track but now I feel bad once more b/c the scores got worse not better. I am so scraed I will not pass this test. I know I am not the only one but I have to pass. I dont want to push my test back but I dont want to fail myself either.

First of all, take a deep breath and calm down. I took many, many ATI's and it always told me I needed work in everything, but I always passed the tests. Don't go by what you need work on, go by how you scored. Do you guys have the topic-based ATI's? Like a test for maternity, one for peds, one for cardio, etc..... That's a better indication of what your weak spots are.
I know the feeling of freaking out before the NCLEX. Have you taken the Kaplan question trainers? I think that they were the best indicator of how the NCLEX is really laid out where the questions are difficult and it often came between 2 answers. I'm not using mine anymore and I've got access to it until September, so I'd be more than happy to let you use it for the extra practice.
Oh, thank you so much. Yes it's the topic based ATI. I don't know anything about Kaplan so if you can help me in that area I will be thankful for it. Yes I do need to calm down but the fear has hold of me and that's what gets me down.
