Edited 'cause I realized I prolly wrote too much specific information. ---Thanks for the replies--- What irks me most is that she wasn't even paying attention when I was trying to give her report.
I wrote the meds in the proper place in the e-chart. I know, I double checked just now. People like her are the reason I generally refuse to help out.
The unfortunate part about this is that I get upset when stuff like this happens and blame myself. Even if it isn't my fault.

Print and show her your message...then advise due to her actions you would no longer be available to help her. That should get her attention.

if most of the staff is grateful for your help, continue to help out unless it's her pt. if she or anyone else asks why you don't help her, be honest: "you don't like the way i do things." if you have a good relationship with that doc, i'd find a quiet moment and talk to him about his feelings. chances are all he did was ask if there was a med recon filled out and didn't get upset about it. that will a) give you a chance to explain if he was upset and b) give you more insight into this nurse's agenda.
if it's getting to be like this with everyone, then i'd quit volunteering to help.
