Not my day!

So Im taking pre-req's for BSN program, and thought it may be a good idea to get my CNA license to get some experience while in school. I save up for 2 months to take a course, save for another month and a half to pay for the test (they require a background check now, effective Aug 1st, and now it costs more money). I call Prometric last week to find out the status of my app, they say they haven't even received it, faxed another one and called today and they have received it BUT I have to wait for a letter in the mail, then take that to go get finger prints. They will then do the background checks and all this will take over a month to process before I can even schedule an exam date! .Has anyone else had to go through so much like this? Ive been waiting for months to have the opportunity to get back to work (2 small kids) and I feel like Im taking 1 step forward and 5 steps back! GRR:eek:
