I received my unofficial results today and I just don't understand. They say that once again I did not pass. How can this be? I studied my bum off. I have new Rn's that work on my floor that ask me questions and yet I havn't passed. This is my second time not passing according to the unofficial ruling. I can't help but feel so down and out. I have amajor emotional break down today at work I don't want anyone to know. I feel as if I can barely breathe. I know it's "JUST A TEST" but it doesn't feel like "JUST A TEST" so much for hoping wishing and praying on top of studying my bum clear off!.. I dunno I just feel aweful though. Why me??

Are you talking about the NCLEX? If so, I am so sorry that you didn't pass, but please don't give up the fight! There are so many that have been through this too, just read about them and their struggles. Some failed time and again, then finally passed. You can too! P.S. You deserve a "break down" when you need it, and nobody thinks worse of you. We all hope the best for you and your career.
yes i was talking about the nclex rn I appreciate your kind words and in reality I know what you say is true. It's just everytime i think i can take a minute to be happy to finally be done with the nclex it doesn't happen for me. Whats worse is that i was "near" that passing standard and over it even in some areas. which i know should be a good thing but i just feel like i get so close only to have it ripped clear out of my hands at the last second. if god is testing me i dont know why....... i have never really been ultra religious but i just feel like this HAS to be out of my hands cause i am trying soo hard and getting no where

I feel for you. I know how hard you must want it. Do you ever consider Kaplan? I heard it's very good. Keep praying and give yourself a little break. Don't wait too long for rescheduling if you feel like you know your stuff. You can also buy a strategy book. I hope it helps.

First of all, don't give up. You CAN do this. You have to reevaluate how you studied the 1st 2 times and come up with something new. Did you study with particular books like Kaplan, Saunders, or HESI? Have you attended a Kaplan class or an on-line NCLEX class (National Board of nursing has one). Have you studied with someone who did pass NCLEX and go over questions together to see how in tune is your critical thinking? Are you remembering your Maslow's, the nursing process (ADPIE), and of course ABC's do answer the questions?
I'm not saying you didn't study enough or didn't try, but you must look at all you haven't done yet because your missing a piece of the puzzle.
I wish you the best. It's so depressing for many of us now. Either you haven't passed NCLEX or you did and you can't find a job. I pray for us all.
