Hi Im a newbie here and I've read a lot of threads about this that weren't new so I'd like to start a new thread on this. I was wondering if ever I applied in this hospital would they consider me even if I don't know someone from there? Or do i really need a connection? And how long do you have to wait after submitting online app. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thank you

I think it depends on the position of that person you know. My friend new a unit director at one hospital so of course she got the job immediately. Another one of my peers has a family friend at another hospital and that nurse has a good relationship with a unit director so she got a job too. From what I'm hearing, you get jobs either by working there previously as a tech or have a connection. I've been applying for about two months now and still waiting to hear back
