Northwell Health Fellowship October 2020

Hi everyone, 

I am starting a thread for the Northwell Health October 2020 Fellowship! I just wanted to know if anyone applied yet. Figured that we could keep each other updated here!

I applied to a few of the fellowships that opened this week and I received an email for an on-demand interview today.

I graduated in May and passed the NCLEX in June. I applied for the July ED fellowship and a few other positions on the website. I received an on demand interview for the ED fellowship, but I never heard anything back after that. I applied for the ICU fellowship and I did the on demand interview. I would suggest preparing for that interview by going over commonly asked questions. A few days later I received an email to set up an in person interview. It was with the Nurse Edu, Nurse manager, and a few nurses that worked on the unit. I wasn't nervous at ALL, and that's saying a lot LOL. They asked common interview questions and it felt more like a conversation. They are really nice and just want to get to know you as a person and provide more information on the fellowship and what to expect. 

Hang in there guys! I know we have all worked hard to get to this point. Stay positive ?

Thanks for your feedback! That’s how I felt when I met the director and educator but still nervous to hear back since they only asked 1 question and just spoke about the program. Do you know how many ppl get to that point and how many they have to discard?

I honestly have no idea. I did speak to someone who applied for ED fellowship in July, and she had about 3-4 interviews before they made their selection. Do you know if its only 1 person they select per fellowship, or is it a few people?

What questions did they ask for the live interview. I do not know how to prepare for this. Nervous LOL

I spoke to her this morning she says there were alot of applicants and not many positions and she already sent candidates to sites.

Did she say if decisions were made about which candidates were accepted into the fellowship programs ?
