Northeastern CRNA 2020

Hey I just wanted to start a thread for those of us applying to Northeastern CRNA program staring 2020.

I was wondering if anyone else has recieved an email saying "we are unable to offer you admission"?

I am mainly confused by this because the application due date is not unitl 8/1/2019 and they did not mention a rejection for an interview.

Anyone else dealing with this or recieved an acceptance for an interview?

Anyone hear anything? Anyone applying to BC?

No word yet either - I emailed once with no reply, but the FAQ said “sometime this fall.”

One of the current students from last year said she heard a week after she interviewed but not sure when that was. Does anyone have interviews scheduled later than the 7/24, 8/5, and 8/7 dates?

I have a similar question. If the extended application deadline was August 1st, would they extend interviews too? I submitted my app on August 1st but haven’t heard anything. It also hasn’t been that long I suppose.

I'm wondering that too! I didn't realize that submitting the application by Aug 1 would put us at such a disadvantage. Doesn't quite seem right..

I’m sure they’ll extend interviews! I didn’t hear back for interviews until 7/18 and I applied by the first deadline l o l

Congratulations!!! Would you mind posting your stats for the rest of us? Also, how’d you feel about the interview process?

Thank you! 2 years in ICU, CCRN, currently at a large teaching hospital with trauma and SICU, overall 7 years as an RN. 3.6 GPA for my BSN. 312 on GRE.
Interview itself was pretty relaxed in comparison to two I had before, met with just the director and a professor. I was told to expect to be intimidated by them but I thought they were quite friendly.
