Hey there, I was third on the list and moved up to first last week Tuesday. I am going crazy trying not to obsess over this! So you are now third! I called a couple weeks ago and they said registration ends August 31 so we should have a better idea then. They also said I wouldn't know for certain that I wasn't in until school starts.

I am consuming way too much chocolate :uhoh3:

Hi there, I called on Tuesday and they sad I was 5 (I started at 7) When was the last time you checked? You will totaly get in!! If I was you I would get everything ready :)

I don't want to get my hopes up, the lady at the desk told me not to get anything yet just to look at the list. It's frustrating not being able to plan ahead. Thanks for the positive thoughts!

I called Monday to check and nothing had changed. Let me know if you hear anything and I will keep you posted as well!

Nope, I reapplied for Winter. Can't wait to start studying for the Hesi again!

Well I still think you will get in. I don't think yesterday was the deadline because if you go to the North Seattle website it says that there are 19 seats available. I can't get a straight answer when I call. I emailed Edel and will let you know what I hear. She told me that they sometimes take up tyo 8 people off the list.

I applied for winter quarter as well....that hurt having to pay $65.00 again And uugghhh!!! The Hesi. I did poorly on the reading part (of all things) I don't even know how to study for that!! I HAVE to get at least a 95/96 this time!!!

Geez 8 people! That would be nice. I just checked and there are now 13 spaces to fill, I cannot imagine why people wouldn't register already!

I so do not want to take the Hesi again either, I took A&P over a year ago so that is my big weak spot. The questions are just so all over the place it's hard to know how to prepare. Have you heard back from Edel?

Edel never got back to me When I spoke to a man in the office a few weeks back, he told me there was a cut off to register. I'm thinking he said the first week of Sept. He gave me a date but I can't remember. He said that they are giving the students extra time because they didn't get the Hesi results back sooner. After the students register they have seven days to pay tuition or they will be dropped.

My guess is the students that are waiting to register either need more time to pay tuition or are waiting to hear from other schools. I think we will know more by the end of this week. Like I said, I think it's a long shot for me to get in but you never know!! I guess Bellevue college took 30 off their wait list last year:yeah:

I'm registered for the NSCC program for this fall. I'm guessing that the reason some are still not registered is because they are trying to complete the pre-reqs for registration. Once you were accepted, NSCC sent out a link to a database where you had to enter all of your required vaccination information, TB testing (two part), yearly physical info, confirmation of American Heart Association CPR course, etc. You also need to complete a background check. You can't register until all of this is completed, entered into the DB, verifying paperwork is submitted, and the paperwork is confirmed as valid by NSCC.

They required that you complete this and register by Oct 31, which gave everyone about 2 weeks to complete - crazy-fast if you hadn't already started your vaccination series and had a Dr. appt lined up.

Sounds like they're giving everyone a little extra time to complete, since acceptances were sent out a bit later than usual, due to the late HESI testing.

Well I talked to Edel yesterday and she said that all of the students had accepted their spot in the program. The reason they hadn't registered yet is because of the reasons Toucheturtle mentioned. I do believe I am dead in the water for this quarter. Trollmimi you may still have a chance and I am crossing my fingers for you :)

Well now it's all about winter quarter. I got my Hesi test time for October 6th. It's on!!

Thanks for the info! I am pretty much trying to not even think of Fall as an option at this point. I think if I did get in it would mean something very bad happened to someone else, ya know?

I get to take the Hesi again October 13! How are you planning on studying this time? I have the Hesi study guide and my old A&P book but any other suggestions would be great!
