Hello
I am thinking of moving to Central Florida have been there, love it, just sold my home. I am a male nurse- RN, experienced ( 8 years, CHPN) in Hospice nursing and would like to stay in Hospice.
Questions:
1. What are the nursing jobs like in general in Central Fla?
In demand? No demand? Luke warm? Don't bother looking?
2. Any one know how Hospice nursing jobs are in Central Fla?
3. Any central parts of the state more employable than others for nursing jobs?
4. Places to AVOID working at?
5. I am leaning toward the North central area to live in, would rent at first then eventually buy a place.
How are the Crime rates?
Places to AVOID living in?
6. I would like to live out in more of a country/quiet setting, what would 125k buy , housing wise?
Any input appreciated.
Thanks

Can someone answer this question because I am also looking to move to Florida.
Where are u looking to move to?
Where are u moving from? I am investigation Fla and other southern states. Cost of living is higher in Fla.
I'm looking to move to Orlando. I fell in love when I went recently. When I was there I saw many ads for apartments that I researched that were pretty cheap and plus there is so much to do. I haven't graduated nursing school but I'm debating do I want to go there right after graduating or work in my state first. I live in Maryland. The cost of living does have its pros and cons in Florida. Housing can be on the lower end compared to where I am now. $1100 here gets you a 3 bedroom townhouse or apartment for rent, but there in the neighborhood where our rental was, you get a 3 bedroom house with a pool. Gas was cheaper there than here when we visited (March 2014) but food was veryyyy expensive.
