Triad area Weekend/Evening Programs

U.S.A. North Carolina

Published

Hello everyone. I have scanned this board for around a year now and finally decided to join. I already have two BS degree's (Information Systems and Lab Animal Science). I have stayed out of work with my soon to be 1 year old son and I will be starting a new job 8-8-05. I was going to attend WSSU for their BSN program (I was one of the few that have previously graduated with honor's from there and STILL didn't get into the accelerated program... :angryfire ), so I was going to apply to the regular program. BUT...I need to work and now that I have a job (normal business hours)...I am wondering if there are any schools in the Triad with an evening and weekend program.

I have checked into GTCC and I was wondering if anyone knows anything about GTCC and if anyone knows of any other programs in the area. Thank you!!

Here is a list of nursing programs throughout the state:

You can use this list to contact each one that is a reasonable distance from the Triad and find out if there are any evening or weekend classes for nontraditional students. I do know that Nash Community College has one such program, but I am sure there are others. http://www.nashcc.edu/eveningnurses.html
