hello all

i'm looking to move to the nc state in june-aug. i need help with ideas on where to move, what is a good hospital to work for, where is the best pay, anyone offer sign-on bonus or relocation bonus?

the reason for the move is to get out of ohio and try something new. i'm looking to go near the coast but i don't want to get washed away, so i was thinking somewhere around a hour from the ocean. i really want to get away from the ohio winters and the horrible sinus problems.

i am torn between two states right now and the other choice is az.

so if someone could stear me in the right direction i would really be thankful

i have a 6yr old so i need a good school district and a safe neighbor-hood. i would like someplace that is pretty and fun to live in

I just received the recent copy of Nursing Bulletin from the state board, and there was an ad for SouthEastern Regional Medical Center in a town called Lumberton. It gave the facility's location as 2 hours from Myrtle Beach.

And there is an ad from a hospital in Wilmington

The Raleigh/Durham area has excellent hospitals such as Duke, UNC, Wake Med, Rex. There is also excellent school districts and good universities nearby. We are also about 2hrs from the beach.

Craven County in New Bern, has a good reputation. I live in Lenoir County and work at Lenoir Memorial in Kinston, we are about 1 1/2 hours from beach, but there is not a lot to do in our town. Great Hospital though.
