I have a nursing instructor who will let other students redo projects and assignments to regain full points. However, she does not allow everyone to do so. This is unfair and I'm not sure how to talk to her about it. I'm fearful of reprimand.

Your best bet is to do your best work to begin with and then you won't need a 2nd chance.
Really. Your instructor may have had good reasons to allow those other people to re-submit an assignment. You don't know why she did what she did -- and she may not be allowed to tell you why even if you ask. Accusing her of bias will only further strain your relationship.
If you feel you must pursue it ... then ask her nicely to clarify her policy so that you can be sure to follow it. Ask her for the types of reasons that she might let someone revise a submission, turn something in late, etc. But don't approach her with an accusation. That will only cause trouble.

Like llg said, your best bet is to just do your assignments the best you can so you don't need another chance at it. You never know what is going on in other people's lives. The people your instructor might have let re-do those assignments probably spoke to him/her privately and explained what was going on that caused them to do poorly, and the instructor felt the circumstances allowed for them to re-do the assignment. You just never know. i had an instructor that specifically stated on the first day that the first 15 minutes of every class we would be taking a quiz, and if we were late we couldn't make up the time we missed but could do what we could in the time left and if we missed class there was no make-ups. Even though he said that clear as day on the first day, there was a girl in class that came late EVERYDAY and he would send her in the hall to do her quiz. Even though we had 15 minutes to finish it, she'd be out there for way longer. It seemed like he would just forget she was out there and she would take advantage of it. Of course, it made all of us upset because she was getting unlimited time on her quizzes. Then, one day a friend of mine had a family emergency and came late to class. She was upset she missed the quiz and asked him if she could make it up, and explained her circumstances, and he allowed it. The next week, another student came late and asked to makeup the quiz, but did not give a reason why he was late. The instructor replied, "No makeups. I told you this the first day of class." He was so upset because he knew he had let other people makeup quizzes. We told him to explain to the instructor why he was late and depending on the reasoning, the instructor might let him take it. He said no because he had just overslept and obviously that wasn't a good excuse. Anyways, we all couldn't understand why that one girl came to class late everyday but still kept getting to go in the hall and do her quizzes. Finally, at the end of the semester, it became known that she had some things going on her life, and it made sense. But, without finding that out, it just seemed like for some reason he was giving her preferential treatment. This long spiel is only to say that you just never know what is going on in someone else's lives. Most people don't like to let their problems be known to everyone, so even though it might seem like the instructor is giving preferential treatment to students, they might have something in their life that the instructor feels is appropriate to allow for second chances. You never know!
