I am thinking about enrolling in an ADN program offered by a local medical school. They are approved by NYS, but they are not NLN accredited. My goal is to become a NP, and this maybe a problem down the road. I have realized many nursing schools only require that you have an RN license to get into their RN to BSN or RN to MSN programs. Will getting my MSN degree after completing my ADN at this non accredited program be a problem?
I mean... for example I am located in NY, but colleges like Jacksonville University offer RN to BSN programs completly online with the only requirement being you have a RN license
