Hello everyone,
I hope this finds you well.
I am a Registered Nurse (RN) in USA and in Lebanon. I am working as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Quebec after I failed the Professional Examination for nurses due to lack of information and misguidance while my preparation for the exam. My New York Diploma and NCLEX exam are not accepted in Quebec unless I register first in another Canadian province.
The Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ) asked me to go back to school in Quebec or to apply for registration in other Canadian provinces.
Recently, I applied to NNAS and I am still waiting for my Advisory report for RN Registration.
I am looking forward to meet the education and the practice using the following:
1- My previous title and work experience as a Candidate for the Profession of Nursing in Quebec or a Graduate Nurse (1313 hours)
2- Assessment of my Education by the OIIQ and the Ministry of Immigration, Diversity and Inclusion in Quebec (I got the equivalency of a BSN and Master's in Health Services Management)
2- BSN from Lebanese University (4 years)
3- Masters degree in Hospital Management
3- NCLEX-RN for New York State and verification of registration
4- Other Continuing education certificates in nursing and management
Your comments and experiences are highly appreciated.
Best regards,
Silverdragon102, BSN
