Hi,
I am a seasoned CA nurse and worked in a hospital setting since 2010.
I relocated to the UK and passed my CBT and OSCE, went through the entire process and now they are requesting either the school credit hours to be translated into practice hours or a letter from the university I attended stating that a minimum of 50% of schooling was in clinical practice. I am on a visitor's visa and my time here is running out.
I have attempted contacting the university and am receiving no help.
Is this necessary? I am very confused and distraught and why wasn't this brought up beforehand.
Any advise/help would be greatly appreciated.

If they are requesting it for licensure/work, it must be necessary. Think of the hoops that foreigners jump through to work in the US. Requirements vary worldwide, even amongst states in the US. You'll need to keep trying your university to get what you need
No, that isn't how it works. They have to ensure that you meet the requirements before you take the boards.
I do appreciate you answering. Thank you very much.

From your original post, I didn't see that, sorry. But perhaps they work that way, or perhaps something got messed up and fell through the cracks, and they caught it. Either way, you're at their mercy, kinda like the vice versa I mentioned prior. Perhaps this question would be better directed to their agency as well, as they are the one requesting. They can tell you why and give specifics. Good luck
I believe you are right. Thanks again.
