2017 NMC UK Decision Letter

Published

Hi Guys,

I found an old thread from 2016 but wanted to start anew so we don't have to filter through 20+ pages. I submitted my application in June and it was placed on the queue on June 21. I am still anxiously waiting for my decision letter. My 40 working days is on the 16 August. Is there anyone else that submitted this at about the same time as me that's waiting to hear back?

Also - anyone have issues with clinical practice hours in university from the US? I was short by 25 hospital hours, but I did 187 hours volunteering at a hospital while I was in school. They said to include that in my transcript of training, that it should be ok but it would still need to be assessed like everything else, which leads me to believe it should be fine, albeit still so terrified! I have my family and my boyfriend waiting on me to get there and I can't wait any longer!!

Got my decision letter today..

Queue date Oct 4th

See it wasn't long, me next hopefully

So I got an email from NMC to upload a file as they were having problems with doing same. Hopefully not long again for decision letter

Should get in one or two daya

God willing, I'm hoping so

Hi everyone, anyone receive a golden handshake from an agency.

No what's the golden handshake

It's money you get for joining the agency when you are in possession of a Decision Letter and they apply for your CoS

I am still to get decision letter but will let you know.

Hi Yadda, do you mean to say that there should be different barcoded forms for Saudi Council and the Philippines? If so, I wonder how to avail two different barcoded forms for two different RAV? Thanks

Just heard about NMC changes, a friend of mine who just passed cbt is only required 1 reference as compared to my 2 for English speakers.

I got my DL! here's my timeline:

August 3,2018- passed the IELTS

October 18,2018- posted my documents to the NMC address

October 22,2018- placed on queue

November 18, 2018- got a feedback from my assessor to submit an explanation regarding the discrepancy of my surname. It's just because of the way name are typed here in the PH
