NMC confussion

Hello.I have been trying to deal with a problem with the NMC. I have sent all the papers they needed fron Greece (now i'm in the UK) on february.On April they told me that they couldn't accept my doctor's documents because he is a pathologist and not a general practitioner.I called them an explained them that in Greece we don't have general practitioners but pathologists as general doctors and family doctors.They accepted the documents and while i am waitng i received a letter letting me know that they are waiting th EU REFERENCE Form to be done again,because of the doctor.??!!! But since they have accepted the doctors forms and papers and the declarations,and the date is the same with the date on the EU REFERENCE FORM i already have sent from February,why do they need a new one??? Please if anybody knows,help me.. Thank you very much!!!
